Hiring and being hired in tech - Marion Aguirre, Marc Lao, Emily Hayman, Liam Boogar

On August 29th, we hosted at Algolia a TechLunch about Hiring and being hired in tech. We had a panel of 3 people with very different profiles and who all have interesting inputs about hiring, and being interviewed by Marion Aguirre, Senior Tech Recruiter at Algolia. The panelists were: • Emily Hayman, Solutions Engineer at Algolia Emily is a Solutions Manager at Algolia, and has been a developer for more than 7 years. She worked at several companies and went through different hiring processes. • Marc Lao, Lead Technical Recruiter at Datadog Marc is the Team lead of the Tech recruiting team at Datadog. He will tell us everything about his experience reaching out to candidates, making them feel comfortable and making sure they are the best fit for the company, and vice-versa. • Liam Boogar, Head of Brand Strategy at MadKudu Liam joined the start-up MadKudu at the beginning of 2018 as Head of Brand Strategy. He was the first employee in Paris and one of his first goals was to build an engineering team in Paris.
